Lighting

I shot some pool players in a dark lit bar to emphasize the overhead light above the pool table. The shadows given on the balls is different and interesting to me.  From the eye of the pool shooter it isn't really relevant, but each view has a different outlook.  I tried to be unaware to the pool player and just have them be natural, but it was a little harder than I thought.

I believe I was using flash on this one. The rack is fully emphasized and if you strain you can see the shooter lining up his shot in the background.

I chose this photo because it gives a full view of the bar with the flash. The player is in focus more than the pool balls getting ready to line up his next shot.

I chose this photo because I like the different angles the light hits each pool ball. There was no flash used and I don't know why the background is lighted as well as it is.

I like the focus on the cue ball and how it looks like a moon, to me at least, and the background of the bar is pretty much black except the beer signs.

The final picture I like is because it seemed as the different angles I went around the pool table the different lighting came about. Here you can see the main pool player in focus, with his competitor watching in the background along with patrons from the bar and no flash was used.
